Our kids have participated in Awana for several years
and this summer Elijah, Ruby, and Ivy got to ride in a parade
with the church where we go to Awana.
It was an "advertisement" for Awana so the kids each wore their vests/t-shirts.
After the parade there was a free pork supper at the church;
they had face-painting and some lawn games going on as well.
All Elijah wanted was a beard.
He got one.
