I have been following this case
because I believe it is very important to stand up for every woman’s human right to respectful, non-violent maternity care .
While many don't want to believe it happens,
I've lived it.
Many of my friends have lived it
and continue to witness it in their roles as birth workers.
It's time for it to stop.
