Last night at a church program, I took Ruby out to feed her.
Elijah and Christopher came with me and we sat outside the doors of the sanctuary.
Two or our pastor's kids were also there--Peter (10) was watching Hannah (2).
Elijah went over to Hannah and sat next to her.
Elijah: "Hi, Han-nah."
Hannah: stares back, then smiles.
Elijah: "Hey Han-nah---I drive a skidloader."
Hannah: stares back, clearly impressed.
