Yes, indeedy!
A farm wife's life has
500
posts!
In honor of this occasion,
I am joining the ranks of those who do
give-aways on their blogs.
And by joining, I mean
doing it once.
Giving away what, you ask?
Why,
a crocheted dishcloth, of course!
I made them,
'cause I'm farm-wifey that way.
I have three of these ready to give away
and all you need to do to enter is leave a comment.
In the comment,
tell me something about
how/when you began reading my little bloggity. (1 entry)
"Follow" me and leave
another comment telling me you did so. (1 entry)
Tell me about one of your favorite posts
that you've read here on this blog in another comment. (1 entry)
Ask me a question that you'd like me to answer
in another comment. (1 entry)
PS. My kids read this blog, so keep that in mind.
I will choose three winners via random
and notify you so I can deliver the dishcloth to you!
Can you teach me how to make these? I would love to win your lovely give-away...but there is no way I could narrow down to my favorite post because I am in awe at every post you do because you have a view on life that is amazing, full of grace, full of faith and honesty!!
ReplyDeleteI already am a follower and check your blog daily!! So rather than be in the running for one of your give-a ways I would rather come visit you again with some boys...and have a visit and have you teach me to make these....up for it???=)
I started to read your blog probably about the time I was chatting with you at a babyshower - your little girls were so adorable that I love to hear about what they are up to! (and the others too!)
ReplyDeletewhat a GREAT prize - those are the BEST washclothes to have - hope I win! :-)
Christel Samuelson
there are so many of your posts that I like on here so I can't choose just one but I can tell you that I really enjoy how honest they are - you don't "hide" anything and I really respect that!
ReplyDeleteI'm now a FOLLOWER!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI began reading your blog shortly after Kendall was born. She didn't sleep at night. AT ALL. Your blog was my entertainment. I think I read the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteI "follow" you :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post is about the "baby blues" for lack of a better term. I was like, "So I'm not crazy, someone else felt that way, too."
ReplyDeleteDid you ever get the newborn rock and play soother that you wanted?
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I got it from being on facebook!
ReplyDeletewhat is your favorite recipe?
ReplyDeleteI think I came across your blog when you left a comment on mine, probably via heather :)
ReplyDeleteI already "follow" you!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post was the one about the goat giving birth and dying. It was sad, yet very real and raw and I like that in people.
ReplyDeleteAnd 1 question...when are you having the next baby??? Hopefully soon? you make such cute babies and obviously God things you're really good at it and I LOVE reading birth stories...like I wish someone would publish a book of a whole bunch!!!
ReplyDeleteyou don't have to enter me but i'm just here to say that Melissa does beautiful work with these. i have one and i love it. too pretty to wash dishes with tho :0)
ReplyDeleteMelissa,
ReplyDeleteHope that YOU are feeling better also! It IS amazing, though, how fast things go downhill when we are out of comission! Have a great weekend!

I began reading your blog last year.
ReplyDeleteI love all your posts! I love seeing pictures of your beautiful children and also on how you are keeping it real. I also appriciate your beautiful sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteI would love to know how to make some beautiful wash clothes all my own. I don't really know how to knit or crochet???
ReplyDeleteMelissa - I absolutely LOVE your blog. You opened my eyes up to the world of blogging. I started reading your blog last year when you told me about it as we were talking about the upcoming birth of Ivy.
ReplyDeleteI "follow" you
It is hard to choose a favorite because I love so many. However, my favorite has to be either Ivy's birth story or your post on the postpartum blues. I actually went back and read it after Scarlett was born because I really needed to know that I wasn't alone and that other moms had felt that way too. I also like your posts about homeschooling!
I guess my question is may I come over again one day and hang out when things settle down and you and the family are feeling better? I also need to get your newborn prefolds back to you. Thank you SO much for letting me use them. They have some poopy stains so they will probably need a sun bath, if summer ever gets here!
