Dennis said that if he didn't know any better, he'd say this baby is coming very soon.
He says I'm acting like I'm nesting---I'm cleaning like a crazy woman. Room by room, drawer by drawer...oh, the things that are getting taken care of! I love it!!
Of course, I'm not nesting. I'm not even half-way! Almost--but not quite.
I'm not nesting, I'm just sick of how disorderly the house has become.
So I'm cleaning. And not taking much time for anything else.
Except for the 3 minutes it took me to post this, of course.
I think it's the drastic change of seasons/temperatures, because I'm doing the same thing. Last week the kids wore summer dresses, t's and shorts, and now it feels like winter will be here next week! It's funny -- I was praying that God would give me that nesting urge to clean-- because I am so much more thorough at those times--and because the house got away from me this summer -- it was go, go , go -- and the house got mess, mess, messy! Well, I think He gave it to me just before school started and I'm trying to keep up the momentum!
ReplyDeleteYou want to pass some of your motivation my way? We have been terrible about keeping the house in order. We got a good prtion of it nice and clean last night before some neighbors came over, but it hasn't stayed that way.
